Becoming warmer for all

All indications at present are that we are going to be experiencing some warmer weather conditions as we get into May.

It does seem as though the coming week will see periods of rain mainly affecting western areas. However, we should see southeast and eastern parts of the country beginning to warm up as the winds become more southerly.

By next weekend showery rain may well return temporarily, but after that high pressure is expected to become the controlling factor. It should become warmer in most places, possibly even hot at times.

The exception will be southwest England and southern Ireland where there is a risk of some thundery rain from time to time.
