Chilly winds, chance of rain in east
Okay, I know, I know, I did say yesterday that I thought we'd see some sunshine this weekend. Well, the weather never stops developing and my thoughts now are that there may be more cloud around than I first thought.
Certainly I still expecting Saturday to be a reasonable day with some decent spells of sunshine, especially in the west, but for Sunday and Monday there could be some rain around.
So, my latest ideas are that Friday will be breezy and chilly with a fair amount of cloud and some light showers on eastern coasts, where it will feel particularly chilly.
By Saturday eastern coasts of England and Scotland stay cloudy and fairly chilly, with a further chance of some patchy rain. To the west it should be brighter with some bright or sunny spells coming through, the best of these over southern parts of Ireland.
On Sunday there is a hint of some more persistent rain drifting over East Anglia and eastern England, although this will be showery. Further rain into the west of Scotland and Ireland, with drier and brighter conditions in-between.
Monday sees further rain in the southeast and over western Scotland and Ireland, but once agaion drier elsewhere, although rather cloudy.
My confidence in the forecast isn't as high as I'd like it to be right now, so it would be best for you to check back again tomorrow.
Whatever the weather keep the sun shining!
Simon
