By the time we get to Sunday afternoon most of us will probably have seen the best of the weekend's weather.
A fine morning on Sunday for many with some pleasant sunshine, especially over Scotland. There could be thicker cloud on southern coasts of England bringing outbreaks of rain, with further rain reaching Northern Ireland. By the afternoon showers are going to be forming over much of the Midlands and northern England.
Overnight a band of rain sweeps eastwards through the whole of the UK, with drier weather following from the west. This should bring a dry day for many western parts on Monday, as rain clears eastern coasts.
