Thundery rain on Monday, but mainly fair this week
After a scorching weekend, we can look forward to some fresher conditionsk for most parts of the country during the next couple of days. However, as well as fresher air, thundery weather will be making it's presence felt.
Thundery showers on Monday through much of southern and eastern England, with the fresher weather making its way through northern and western areas. Apart from showers in western Scotland and Northern ireland most western parts of the country should be dry.
Pressure is forecast to stay high over the south of the country throughout the course of the week. This should bring fine weather to most, although it will always be northwest Scotland that is at risk from some rain.
