Heating up for the weekend...
Things are set to heat up as we head towards this weekend, although some of you in the south of England may not think so after such a chilly day on Monday.
However, the high pressure is building and by the weekend it will be dragging in hot air from the Continent. By Friday temperatures will be at 27C, 28C on Saturday and also Sunday.
Not everywhere will be fine though, heavy bursts of rain will be moving into the west of Ireland and western Scotland, this slipping eastwards during the day. There could be some localised flooding in places.
Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining.
