Cooler weather arriving for all, but it'll be a thundery awakening...
The heatwave is coming to an end and, typical of a British Summer it'll end in thunderstorms.
These storms will be starting through southern England, some of them containing hail and thunder. Through the day the storms will be pushing northwards into southern Wales and the southern Midlands, eventually extending through the rest of the Midlands, East Anglia and parts of northern England. Some of the storms could be very heavy with large hail.
Al areas then enjoy fresher, Atlantic weather. There will be a few showers in the west but many areas should become dry. It'll stay like this into the early part of the weekend, but by Sunday there is a hint of windier, wetter weather spreading through all areas.
Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining.
Simon
