Thunderstorms forming this afternoon...
One area of thunderstorms is just clearing into the North Sea. Much brighter weather with hot sunshine through Scotland, northern England, the Midlands and much of southern England east of the Isle of Wight. A very humid afternoon here.
In these brighter areas thunderstorms will be forming during the course of the afternoon and these could be heavy at times.
A further area of rain is passing over Ireland, pushing eastwards and bringing some heavy bursts of rain through Northern Ireland and perhaps into the west of Wales later.
Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining.
