Welcome rain for most...

My, it's been a busy morning here at the Weatheronline Weather Centre! The WeatherLive service has been packed with pope wanting to know when it will rain. Most of these calls have come from farmers who are now desperate for rain to water fledging plants.

And despite the rain that many places saw through Saturday and overnight into Sunday we still need more. It's nice to be able to pass on some good news as well, because it looks as if Monday is going to be bringing more periods of rain for many places.

The rain may be late to arrive in the far southeast, infact it could be Tuesday morning, but most of the country should see at least a couple of millimetres by the start of Tuesday.

For those of you not wanting the rain, you'll have to wait until the end of the week for better weather to arrive. Thursday and Friday are looking best although showers will affect eastern coasts.

Whatever the weather, keep the sun shining.
Simon
