Low pressure in control, rain for all

Low pressure is going to be firmly fixed to the west of the British Isles and Ireland during the coming week. Bands of rain will be pushed eastwards through the countries, although it will always tend to be the west where the worst of the conditions and most of the rain will be.

Further heavy rain is likely to be affecting much of the west, especially Ireland, west Wales and western Scotland as well as southwest England. It will be windy in the west as well. Further east the day should be brighter with some bright or sunny spells, and these will last throughout the day. Temperatures at 18 to 22C.
