Sunny spells & very warm Mostly dry and mild tonight seiten=4 abk=wa
This afternoon
High pressure centred over Scandinavia will be responsible for bringing a dry afternoon through the whole of the UK and Ireland. There will be plenty of cloud, but this is going to be breaking and there should be some good spells of sunshine coming through. The best of the sunshine will be over western parts of Wales, England and Scotland. Thicker cloud for much of the Midlands and eastern England, although even here there will be sunshine. It will be a warm day with temperatures at 19C in the southeast, nearer 15C in western Scotland.
Tonight
Cloud returns from the east during the course of the night, although it perhaps won't be as thick as today. Mist and fog patches are likely to be forming towards the morning, a few of them rather dense. Generally it should be dry, but there is a chance of some drizzle over parts of Ireland and southwest England. Lows near 12C over southern England, 7C through central Scotland.
Sunday
An increased breeze through Ireland and the south of England and Wales. This will result in morning cloud tending to break up more quickly. The afternoon should then be dry for most with some sunny spells, the best always tending to be in the west. An exception could be the far south of Ireland where low cloud could drift onto the coasts bringing some drizzle. Another very warm day at 18C in the south, nearer 15C in western Scotland.
Monday
Some cloud and drizzle could drift past the coasts of the Hebrides and western parts of Ireland. Across most of the rest of Ireland and the UK the day will be starting off with a fair amount of cloud. The cloud should break with sunny spells coming through and it is going to be very warm once again with temperatures well above normal for the time of year.
