A few days of fog and frost

With a strong area of high pressure close to the United Kingdom, most areas will have a spell of settled dry weather for the first part of November. Lows and fronts will be pushed to the north bringing some rain mainly to Scotland from time to time.

Generally a cloudier day to some patchy light rain for Scotland. Fair and dry across England and Wales with some sunshine but often cloudy. Rain across Scotland spreads into eastern England overnight. A milder day to come with highs of 11 to 14C north to south.

Largely cloudy today with sporadic outbreaks of light rain and drizzle across Scotland. Dry for the rest of the United Kingdom with a few bright or sunnier spells in the south. Highs of 10 to 14C.



Monday 06/11/06
Rain across north west Scotland will clear away by the afternoon. Fair and dry again for much of the United Kingdom with good sunny spells developing. Continued dry overnight with fog patches developing in the south. Highs 12 to 15C.

Rain across northern Scotland in the morning spreads into Northern Ireland and all of Scotland in the afternoon. Remaining fine and dry for Wales and England. Rain pushes south overnight. Highs of 10 to 15C.

Patchy rain across southern England will fade in the afternoon. Apart from some showers in western Scotland, a dry day elsewhere with some sun. Frost returning to the north overnight. High temperatures of 10 to 14C.
