Increasing risk of dense fog
The first week of November looks to remain settled and largely dry for most places as a strong area of high pressure dominates. Any fronts will skirt the north west of Scotland until the end of the forecast period when low pressure may take over.

Continued fair and dry for most in the afternoon though some patchy drizzle may affect western Scotland and north west England in the afternoon. Highs of 11 to 14C north to south.

A dry day to come with plenty of sunshine across much of the country though dense fog across central and southern England may be slow to clear. More cloud for Scotland. Highs of 12 to 15C.

Breezy this morning with rain across western Scotland which moves into Northern Ireland in the afternoon. Another settled, dry and mostly sunny day across England and Wales with dense fog dispersing. Highs 12 to 15C.

Rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland in the morning spreads into northern England in the afternoon. Remaining fine and dry for Wales and the rest of England with low cloud and fog in the morning, brighter for the afternoon. Highs of 12 to 16C.
