A band of rain soon clears Northern Ireland and southern Scotland but lingers for much of the day across northern England and Wales. Fine and mostly sunny to the south with showers for western Scotland. The rain becomes light and patchy as it moves south clearing tonight. Highs of 10 to 16C north to south.

A dry day to come with plenty of sunshine across much of the country though it will be colder with some patchy rain for the far north of Scotland. A return of night time frost. Highs of 10 to 13C.



Friday 10/11/06
Breezy this morning with rain across western Scotland which lingers all day. Another settled, dry and mostly sunny day across England and Wales with patchy fog clearing after a frosty start. Wet for Scotland and Northern Ireland tonight. Highs 9 to 12C.

An area of rain will lie across southern across Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland for much of the day. To the north and south of this it's fair and dry with some sunshine in the south. Te rain turns light and patchy overnight. Highs of 12 to 15C.

Cloudy with some patchy rain any residual, patchy rain through the Midlands to fade by the afternoon. Generally a dry, bright and colder day to come for the United Kingdom with variable cloud. Risk of frost by night. High temperatures of 9 to 11C.
