Valid from 00:35 on Sunday, 13th January 2008 until 15:00 on Sunday, 13th January 2008

Rain will become prolonged and heavy during Sunday with 25mm falling widely, but with 50 to 60mm possible over some hilly areas in Dumfries and Galloway, Argyll and western parts of Stirling and Perth & Kinross. North of the Central Lowlands significant snow is expected for a time overnight, but as it turns to rain, thawing snow will increase the risk of localised flooding. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to 'Traffic Scotland' for further advice on road conditions, and to the latest Scottish Environment Protection Agency 'Live Flood Warning Information'.
