Heavy and persistent rain is expected throughout Friday morning and into Friday afternoon over western parts of Perth and Kinross. Rainfall totals of 25 to 30 mm are expected generally, with 50 to 60 mm possible over high ground exposed to the west. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the latest Scottish Environment Protection Agency "Live Flood Warning Information", and also to "Traffic Scotland" for further advice on road conditions.
