Scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms, with a risk of hail, will develop over Devon and Cornwall this evening, giving 15 to 25mm in 3 hours. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads. Further flashes may be issued to cover this event.
