Heavy and persistent rain later on Saturday evening and overnight across parts of Southern and Southeast England has the potential to give 15 to 25mm in 3 hours, with overall rainfall totals of 35mm in places. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.
