Heavy, thundery rain will continue to push northwards during the rest of the night and into Wednesday morning bringing the risk of 25 mm of rain in 3 hours, with totals of up to 50 mm in places. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the relevant transport authority for further advice on any travel disruption, and to the Environment agency Floodline for advice on any flooding.
