Heavy thundery showers will develop across Cornwall this afternoon with totals locally exceeding 15 mm in a 3 hour period. The showers will die away later this evening. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the 'Highways Agency' for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads, and to the latest Environment Agency Floodline and flood warnings in force.
