Heavy and locally thundery showers will continue this evening and will give rainfall accumulations of more than 15 mm in three hours in some locations, with a few places receiving 25 mm in three hours. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the latest Environment Agency Floodline, and 'Flood Warnings in Force', and also to the 'Highways Agency' for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.
