Heavy showers will continue to affect parts of Cumbria during the early evening giving localised rainfall totals of 15 mm within 3 hours. The heaviest showers are expected over the east of the county. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.
