Although the rain and snow is moving away there remains a risk of widespread ice on roads and pavements in Norfolk, Suffolk and north Essex. Less cold conditions will spread eastwards this afternoon. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to 'The Highways Agency' for further advice on road conditions.
