Falling temperatures will lead to widespread ice on untreated roads and pavements this evening, especially where surfaces have been left wet from showers. The icy conditions will persist overnight and well into Saturday morning. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to "Traffic Scotland" for further advice on road conditions.
