Persistent, heavy rain will spread from the west on Sunday night and will continue into Monday morning. Rainfall totals of 15 mm in 3 hours are expected quite widely and some places are likely to see total accumulations of over 50 mm before the rain clears later on Monday. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the "Highways Agency" for further advice regarding traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads the latest Environment Agency, Floodline, and "Flood Warnings in force".
