Widespread ice is expected to form on roads wet by thawing snow. Driving conditions will be difficult. Later this evening and overnight an area of sleet and snow will move in from the west this giving accumulations of 2 to 5cm and locally 10cm over higher parts. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to "Traffic Scotland" for further advice on road conditions.
