Heavy rain on Saturday will produce 50 to 80 mm widely, with 150 mm or more expected over the highest fells. With ground saturated in places, there is a continued risk of localised flooding. This Flash Warning is likely to be renewed later on Saturday. The heavy rain will be accompanied by strong to gale force southwesterly winds. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the latest Environment Agency, Floodline, and Flood Warnings in force. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.
