More heavy rain is expected overnight across central parts of Scotland, southern parts of Dumfries and the western Borders , with further accumulations of 10 to 20mm expected before clearing Sunday morning. General totals of 25 to 35mm over many parts in the 24 hour period, with 40 to 50mm over higher ground, but as much as 80 to 100mm will have fallen over parts of the Trossachs and Argyll. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to "Traffic Scotland" for further advice on road conditions.
