Above 150 metres accumulations of 2 to 5cm are expected, with 10 to 15 cm possible on highest roads above 300 metres. Over hill routes, snow will drift in strong to gale force southeasterly winds. Some wet snow may give temporary slushy falls to lower levels away from the east coast. Sleet and snow will turn lighter in the afternoon before dying out. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to "Traffic Scotland" for further advice on road conditions.
