Further rain will continue to spread northeastwards across South West England today, heavy and persistent in places before easing for a time this afternoon. Further heavy rainfall is then expected this evening and overnight before finally clearing on Wednesday morning. Given saturated ground, the public should be prepared for further localised flooding and disruption to travel, particularly in parts of Devon.
