Baking hot temperatures have penetrated northern and eastern Mexico over the last week. On Thursday, May 2 the city of Monterrey saw the heat pushing the thermometer up to 46°C (115F), dropping to 'fresh' 38°C yesterday. However, the hot spell with temperatures around 40°C will go on.
