East Pacific Hurricane Elida remains an impressive system after being downgraded from a category 4 to a category 3 system. At the moment it seems as if Elida's intensity has peaked and the water temperatures underneath the hurricane are beginning to cool, which will cut Elida's fuel line. However, other parameters are pointing to intensification and as a result Elida will weaken very slowly.
