Warm and Sunshine

Much of Scandinavia is having what much of their fellow Europeans are missing - a warm and dry summer. Over the last three weeks or so daytime temperatures at Stockholm were not lower than 24C. Keep in mind that Stockholm shares its latitude with Kirkwall, where only the elder folks might remember a 24er. Was it Fahrenheit or Celsius?

However, a persistent area of high pressure has given much of Norway, Sweden and Finland a fine summer so far. And it seems as if the warm and sunny weather will last over the weekend.
