Rain, gales in far north
Today
Windy across the United Kingdom and Scandinavia with gales. More rain sweeps in across The United Kingdom into Norway and here it looks heavy. Scattered showers will develop across Portugal with a few into Spain but sunny here too. With high pressure in control, much of mainland Europe looks fine and dry with good sunny spells with morning dense fog patches across Germany and the Balkans. A cold, frosty morning also across eastern parts of Europe. Fine, sunny and mild weather will stretch from the Balearics into Italy, Greece and Turkey.
Tuesday
An area of rain will extend from the United Kingdom across northern France into the Low Countries, Holland and Sweden. A good deal of cloud is expected across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and The Balkans but staying dry. Fair and dry as well for the Baltic States and Poland. Colder across Scandinavia today with snow showers developing across Norway. Mildest and sunnier across Spain into the Balearics, Italy into Greece but a cold day across Turkey.
