Gales across eastern Europe

Today
Cold across Scandinavia with snow or snow showers expected for Finland, Sweden and Norway and rain across Denmark mixed with snow. Windy across eastern and central parts of Europe with blustery showers and sunny spells for the Low Countries, Austria and Switzerland. More persistent rain is forecast across the Baltic States into Germany, France and the Balkans. Another wet as well for the United Kingdom. Just a few showers around southern parts of Greece today. Warm through Spain, the Balearics and into Italy with lots of sunshine.

Windy with rain clearing the United Kingdom and this spreads in across Scandinavia where it will be preceded by some heavy snow across Sweden and Finland. Windy and wet too through northern France, Benelux and Germany. Spain along with Italy looks to have another fine and unseasonably warm, sunny day. Fine across The Balkans and Greece with heavy rain clearing Cyprus in the afternoon moving into eastern Turkey.
