Sunny through the Mediterranean

Today
It looks wet and windy across France, Germany, Scandinavia, the Benelux Countries and the Baltic States. Heavier rain will push back into the UK too as gales affect much of northern Europe. It should become drier and brighter later in the day through France. Much of the Mediterranean though is looking fine and dry with the best of the sunshine from Spain into Italy, Greece and Turkey. Perhaps the far south of Italy, Sicily and Crete could see a few showers at times. Continued unseasonably mild throughout Europe.

Wednesday
A narrowing band of rain clears the UK and will lie from Scandinavia into northern parts of Germany, France and across The Benelux Countries. High pressure now centred over Italy will keep the rest of Europe fine and dry with sunny spells and some morning fog patches. Low pressure in the eastern Mediterranean will produce some shower activity across southern parts of Greece and Turkey. Still mild overall.
