Sunny through the Mediterranean
Today
Very windy with gales across the United Kingdom as rain clear to blustery showers. Windy too across much of northern Europe with a mixture of rain, sleet and snow for Finland and Sweden. Rain expected through Denmark. The rain accompanied by gales, sweep into northern France, much of Germany and into the Baltic States. Quite warm across Portugal and Spain with lots of sunshine. Elsewhere through the Mediterranean into Italy, Greece and Turkey it's a fine dry and mostly sunny day. Turning dry through the Balkans with any early rain soon clearing.
Friday
Western parts of Europe including the UK will stay rather mild. More wind and rain spreads in across the United Kingdom into eastern parts of France into Germany where it looks heaviest. Generally dry for Sweden and Finland with rain into Norway and Denmark and into the Baltic States and Poland. Here it's quite light and patchy. High pressure will give Spain and Portugal another fine, sunny day and continued warm as well. The fine weather should extend eastward across the Balearics into Italy, Greece and Turkey.
