Today
Windy again through Scotland and northern England this morning, winds to 70mph at times. The strong winds spreading into Denmark during this afternoon. A band of rain will pass through the UK, into southern Norway and Sweden, extending through Denmark, northern Germany, the Low Countries and much of northern France. Heavy showers in Ireland.
The rain may reach the far northwest of Spain, but elsewhere in Spain and Portugal it will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Southern France, the Balearics, Italy and Switzerland will all be dry. This dry weather extends through the Balkans, Greece and western Turkey where it will also be warm. A band of rain, some heavy in eastern Turkey and Cyprus.
Sunday
Wintry weather pushing into northern Europe. Snow showers over Scotland, the coasts of Norway and extending south through southern Finland and the Baltic States. An occasional shower in northern France and northern Germany as well as Denmark. Turning colder here, with the showers increasingly wintry over Germany.
Further south some rain for western Portugal and northern Spain, whilst southern Spain is dry with sunny spells. Most of the Mediterranean stays dry, more sunshine and warm too. A few showers in the west of the former Yugoslavia, but dry to the east and dry too for Greece and Turkey.
