Sunny, warm in eastern Mediterranean

A fair, dry, bright day across the United Kingdom into France, southern parts of Germany into southern Poland. Very cold and windy across Scandinavia toady with sleet across Norway, Sweden and Denmark and heavier snow likely for Finland where temperatures will not rise above freezing. An area of sleet and snow also spreads across Benelux into northern Germany and Poland. Windy and cold across Spain with rain, mixed with some snow in central areas. Some rain too across Italy into Greece with a few showers for the Balkans.

A spell of heavy rain is expected in the far south of Spain but mainly fine and dry across Iberia into France and the United Kingdom. A few showers will fall across Italy with rain and snow across the Balkans and northern parts of Greece. Another cold, windy day across Scandinavia with a mixture of sunshine and snow showers, these mainly around western coasts. Windy and cold as well across Germany, The Baltic States and Poland with some heavy snow showers. Turkey and Cyprus will have the best of the warmth and sunshine.
