Continued bitterly cold day across Scandinavia with sunny skies and scattered snow showers though windy with snow across Denmark. Windy with an area of rain expected across the United Kingdom into France and northern Spain. Colder across Germany with rain, sleet and snow with rain across the Low Countries clearing to showers. A dry but cold day through the Baltic States with snow showers across Poland. Dry with the best of the sunshine from southern Spain, The Balearics into southern France and Italy. Unsettled across the eastern Mediterranean with spells of rain.

Windy with gales across France. Rain is forecast across the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Spain, this heavy. Drier and sunnier across Iberia in the afternoon. The winds will be at gale force into the channel into France. Rain too across Austria and Switzerland. Sunny and dry across Italy, Greece and The Balkans and showers across Turkey. Rain, sleet and snow is expected across southern parts of Sweden and Norway with the rest of Scandinavia very cold and dry.
