Coldest across Scandinavia today otherwise quite mild across much of Europe. Rain accompanied by gales will affect western parts of the United Kingdom into Portugal. Fine and dry with sunny spells across France, Spain and the Low Countries with morning fog patches. An area of rain is expected across Germany into Italy, The Balkans and Greece with freezing rain and snow through The Baltic states. Outbreaks of snow and snow flurries for Sweden, Norway and Finland where temperatures will remain below zero.

An area of moderate to heavy rain will stretch from central parts of England into western Iberia. Windy across Spain today too. Fine and dry for a large part of mainland Europe with France, Italy, Germany, The Low Countries, Baltic States and Poland. Sunny with just a few wintry showers for the coasts of Scandinavia. Rain is also likely across Greece with scattered showers for Turkey. Mild across western and central parts of Europe today.
