Snow across Finland

Today
An area of moderate to heavy rain will affect northern Spain into southern France and this moves into Italy in the afternoon. Dry and sunnier across the Balearics and southern Iberia. Outbreaks of snow will spread down across Finland into northern parts of Sweden. Scattered showers are expected across the Balkans while the eastern Mediterranean and much of northern and eastern Europe is settled and dry with sharp frosts. Colder across much of Europe today.

Monday
Showers and rain will effect eastern areas of Spain through the Balearics into southern Italy and the Balkans. Much of mainland Europe will be dry with sunny spells and morning fog patches and frost. Bitterly cold across Scandinavia with snow showers or longer spells of snow for Finland and western parts of Norway.
