Today
Cold but dry and sunny today across Finland while snow is likely across parts of Sweden. An area of rain will lie from Denmark into Germany across Austria, Switzerland into Italy where it will be heaviest. Mainly dry across the United Kingdom with some light rain and drizzle from The Low Countries into Germany and France. A strong mistral will also develop across the south of France later. Look out for freezing rain, sleet and snow across Poland and the Baltic States. Best of the sunshine today will be found across Spain and the eastern Mediterranean into Cyprus.

Tuesday
Rather unsettled across western Europe as an area of rain accompanied by gales sweep across the United Kingdom into western France then into the Benelux region and northern Germany later in the day. Fine, sunny and mild today across Iberia into the Balearics and Italy with an area of rain across Greece into western Turkey. Fair and dry across Denmark, the Baltic States into Poland with a risk of snow for Finland and Sweden. Heavy spells of rain then move into northern Spain, all of France and Germany overnight with gales for much of northern Europe.
