Warmest across southern Spain

Bitterly cold across Scandinavia with heavy snow for Sweden and sunshine and snow showers for Norway while it's mainly dry through Finland and across into the United Kingdom. Snow showers are expected across Poland and the Baltic States with an area of rain and sleet across the Balkans, Germany, The Low Counties and France and light rain across northern Spain. Heavier rain and sleet is likely for northern parts of Italy and foggy here too. Fine and sunnier weather will extend from southern Spain across the Balearics into southern Italy and Greece with rain for Turkey.

Wednesday
Outbreaks of heavy rain will move into Portugal but fine across Spain into the Balearics with showers and light rain for Italy and Greece. Sleety rain will linger across southern France today. A cold but fair, dry day through Germany with snow showers across Holland, The Baltic States and Poland. Continued bitterly cold through much of Scandinavia but mainly dry and sunny. A better day across Turkey with lots of sunshine but cold.
