Heavy rain for Italy

Today
Another bitterly cold day across Scandinavia with heavy snow showers for western parts of Norway, some sun too. For Sweden, Denmark and Finland it's dry with long sunny spells. Cold but dry across the United Kingdom and the Low Counties with freezing fog patches. Some rain is expected across western France. An area of sleet will affect Germany into the Baltic States with snow showers across Poland, Breezy but dry and sunny across Spain with rain soon clearing the Balearics. Very unsettled and windy in the central Mediterranean with outbreaks of heavy rain through Italy and The Balkans. Just a few showers across Greece.

Saturday
High pressure will keep it cold and dry across Scandinavia, milder and sunny through Spain. Elsewhere low pressure areas will provide much of Europe with an unsettled day. Rain clears to showers across Italy as the rain spreads into Greece. Rain also moves into much of France with rain and snow across the United Kingdom. Mainly dry and cold for Germany, the Baltic States and Poland. A fine day as well into Turkey with lots of sunshine.
