Freezing rain across N Germany
Today
Heavy rain will move into Portugal today but fine and sunny for Spain. Settled, dry and mostly sunny too up into France and the Low countries with some drizzle across the United Kingdom. Dry for Denmark but with some patches of freezing fog this morning. Cloudy and cold for Germany with patchy sleet and freezing rain, drier in the south. Cold but dry into the Baltic States with light snow or flurries for Finland, Norway and Sweden but a good deal of dry, brighter weather too. More unsettled with rain and a risk of a few thundery showers across Italy into the Balkans with a sunny dry day across Turkey and Cyprus.
Tuesday
An area of rain will stretch from Ireland into western France across Spain. Another heavy spell of thundery rain will affect southern parts of Italy and Greece. The driest, sunniest weather will be found across central and eastern parts of France with more cloud heading east into Germany and Benelux. Sleety rain is forecast across The Baltic States and Poland with light snow across Denmark into southern parts of Sweden. Very cold but dry across Norway and Finland.
