Lots of spring-like sunshine

Today
An area of heavy showers with thunderstorms will stretch from Tunisia across towards Scilly and the far south of Italy today. High pressure will again gibe much of Europe a settled day. It looks dry with sunny spells across Spain into France, Italy, Germany into the Benelux Countries and Poland. A thinning belt of rain from Norway to the United Kingdom will tend to fade through the day as it dries up. For the reminder of Scandinavia it's a dry day and a mostly sunny day too is forecast for the Balkans, Austria and Switzerland.

Tuesday
Continued mild across much of Europe. And again it looks fine and dry from Iberia into central and eastern parts of Europe. An area of rain will affect Norway otherwise it will also be dry across Scandinavia. Scattered thunderstorms will again affect Tunisia and Greece with plenty of heavy showers to come for Turkey into Cyprus.
