Low pressure bringing rain in central and southern Europe

Today
A mainly dry day through the UK and Ireland with a few bright or sunny spells. Generally dry through much of France, although rather breezy. A band of showers moving into the north and east of Spain bringing some showers here, and these showers or rain extending through the Balearics. Unsettled conditions across Italy with heavy showers or rain for many places.
Most of Portugal and southern and central Spain will be dry with sunny spells and light winds.
For the eastern Mediterranean areas a few showers will affect the former Yugoslavia, with mainly dry conditions over Greece. Turkey may see a few showers and an odd one could be heavy.
Moving north through Bulgaria and Romania there will be unsettled weather with some rain. Into Poland it will be w windy day with some showers, with similar weather through the Baltic States too. For most of Scandinavia the day should be mainly dry.

Sunday
High pressure again dominates over Scandinavia. Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Baltic States will be dry with sunny spells. It could be breezy through Denmark and the Baltic States. A few showers into Poland, although generally dry here.
Most of Germany should be dry, although windy. Showers could affect the Low Countries and northern France. Most of central and southern France should be dry with some bright spells. Much of France and Portugal should be dry although there is a risk of a few showers over high ground. Dry too for the Balearics.
Low pressure close to Italy will bring showers, some of them heavy and thundery. Western parts of the former Yugoslavia and western Greece will be cloudy with a few showers. eastern arts of Greece and Crete ill be dry with sunny spells. Mainly dry too for Turkey with more sunshine here.
