Staying settled in north, showery for Spain and central Med
Today
Fine and dry across the United Kingdom with sunny spells and mild too. Dry as well into Norway with some early fog in Oslo. A cold, frosty morning across Sweden and Finland with a few dense patches of freezing fog but becoming mild by the afternoon with sunny skies. Windier across Denmark but fine and dry. Mostly sunny and dry for central and eastern parts of France and this fine weather will stretch into Germany and the Low Countries. Rather breezy across The Low Countries and northern Germany but mild. More cloud is likely for western and southern parts of France with scattered thunderstorms. Very unsettled and warm for Spain, Italy, Croatia, Serbia and Greece with plenty of showers, some heavy with a risk of thunder. The Balearics should escape with a dry, mostly sunny day. Mainly dry as well for Turkey except for a few coastal showers. High pressure will give The Baltic States, Poland and much of Russia a fine, dry day.
Tuesday
A strong cell of high pressure will be stationary over Scandinavia today. This keeps it dry and mostly sunny across the region with morning frost and patchy fog clearing though windier across Sweden and Denmark. An area of showers will lie from western parts of England into western parts of France into Spain. Across Spain the showers will be numerous and heavy with thunder. These showers will also push in across the Balearics. Sunny and dry across Portugal. Further thundery showers are also forecast for Italy into Croatia and Serbia while Greece and Turkey should be fine and dry today. A large area of dry, sunnier weather will stretch from central France across Germany, Benelux, The Baltic States into Poland and Russia. On the mild side here as well though starting off frosty with early fog patches.
