Fine and sunny across Portugal and western parts of Spain. Very windy with gales across eastern Spain with an area of heavy, showery rain with scattered thunderstorms for eastern Spain, the Balearics into southern France and southern Italy. A dry day for much of the United Kingdom, northern Prance into the Low Countries and Germany. Patchy rain is forecast for Norway with sleet across Finland. Sunnier and dry across Denmark and Sweden with an area of light rain and drizzle across the Baltic States and Poland. Expect lots of fine sunshine for Greece into Turkey.

An area of heavy rain from Norway into the Low Countries and northern France is expected to push east into all of France, Germany and northern Spain. Another band of heavy, thundery rain will affect the far south of Italy. Spells of sleety rain will slow clear Finland with a dry day to come for the Baltic States, Poland and Denmark. Continued fine and dry through the Balkans into Turkey and Cyprus.
