Today
High pressure will remain the dominant weather feature across eastern parts of Europe. This will give all of Scandinavia a dry day with good spells of sunshine. It will be a cold frosty morning with patches for in the Stockholm and Helsinki vicinity. Rather windy across Denmark and southern parts of Sweden today. The fine weather will also extend across Germany into Poland and the Baltic States. A few showers will develop across England and The Low Countries in the afternoon after a foggy morning. Showers are also likely to affect much of France. Very unsettled for Portugal and Spain with plenty of heavy showers and thunderstorms. These showers to also extend west across the Balearics into Italy, northern Greece and into the former Yugoslavia. Mainly dry and fine for Austria and Switzerland. Lots of sunshine for Cyprus and Turkey though a few afternoon showers may develop in central Turkey.

Ann area of rain, some of it heavy will lie across the United Kingdom into France and northern Spain. This then spreads into The Low Counties in the afternoon. Portugal along with central and southern parts of Spain will be dry and sunny today. An area of heavy rain and thunderstorms is expected from Croatia, northern Italy across Sardinia into the Balearics. High pressure will maintain across eastern Europe giving all of Scandinavia, The Baltic States, Poland and Germany another dry day with morning fog clearing to sunny spells. A warm, dry and sunny day for Cyprus and much of Turkey. Cooler but also a dry day for the Ukraine into Romania and Bulgaria.
